Cylindrical cells

Small body makes big difference

Cylindrical cell is the earliest commercial mass production form of lithium battery, so its production process is the most mature, the production cost is the lowest, mass production of single cell consistency is high, small internal resistance, but because of the small capacity of the single cell, large capacity battery system is the most difficult process, also lead to the highest battery pack cost. The working effect is poor under uneven temperature conditions.Moreover, there is little room to increase energy density. These features make it more suitable for small-capacity battery systems, such as outdoor portable power supplies, power tools,Solar street lights, 3C electronics,E-bike power, etc.

Prismatic cells

The dominant king of lithium batteries

After more than ten years of development of lithium battery, researchers have never stopped their pursuit of larger capacity, higher energy density and safer single cell. The large-capacity prismatic battery cells began to mature to commercial application, making it possible for lithium battery to replace non-renewable fossil energy on a large scale. Battery Module

Lithium battery module is fixed together by a certain series and parallel connection of single cells. Battery pack is a terminal product unit formed by adding BMS electric control and monitoring unit, outer case, input and output terminals, etc., on the basis of the battery module. Take LFP cell as an example, the standard LFP battery module has 12V series of 1P4S, 24V series of 1P6S and 51.2V series of 1P16S. Cylindrical cell Module

Process is Simple and intuitive

Cylindrical cell Module production process is mature, Module cost is low, battery product yield and consistency of cells is high; Due to the large heat dissipation area of cylindrical cell module, its heat dissipation performance is better than prismatic cell module. The cylindrical cell is convenient for the combination of various forms and is suitable for the full layout of some space design. Cylindrical cells, however, are usually made of steel, which are heavy and have relatively low energy density.

Prismatic cell module

At the same time, because of the lightest weight, it has the highest energy density, but the disadvantages are also very obvious, too high cost, few models to choose, can not meet the needs of most of the market.

Prismatic cells Pack

Power of choice for most passenger cars.

Prismatic Cell Pack, whose important structural components include: top cover, case, positive plate, negative plate, diaphragm laminated or winding, insulation parts, safety components, etc. Prismatic cell type is mainly made of aluminum case, the structure is relatively simple, unlike cylindrical battery with higher stainless steel case, what’s more the pack with explosion-proof safety valve and other accessories is a safety guarantee, so the overall accessory weight is lighter, higher reliability and higher relative energy density. The prismatic cell pack can be customized according to the size of the product.

CeramiX can provide standardized lithium battery modules for customers with lithium battery pack design and assembly capacity. Standardized lithium battery modules have advantages of lower cost, mature application and higher safety compared with customized modules due to large production volume, wide application range and mature component supply chain. The Conductive bar of our battery module was laser welded. The wiring harness plate fixes the connecting wiring harness between the cells. The patented FPC component (a kind of flexible circuit board) is assembled to collect the temperature and voltage parameters of the module when it is working, which is convenient for assembling into battery pack and BMS management. The side plate and end plate of the module are welded by laser, which is firm and safe.
